To imbibe in students the essence of Indian traditions and festival rituals and customs, Pre-primary department of DPS VAPI celebrated Rakhi.
The little master crafters made the most amazing rakhis with the decorative threads, stars, mirrors, pearls, beads and immense love woven in those rakhis while they were making it. Respecting the choice of bonds the students tied Rakhis to the dummy hand and the boys of the same class made bracelets for their sisters. The event was celebrated with full enthusiasm and zeal. The children witnessed the mythological story behind this custom followed in Indian tradition. The use of Puppetry made the storytelling experience more relatable, meaningful and exciting .
The dazzle of the occasion and the festive aura was indeed remarkable.
