Gujarat Day Celebration
The 1st of May every year marks the foundation for the state of Gujarat. Gujarat is that one place that is aesthetically beautiful and full of art in every nook and corner of the state. This is that one place where every inch showcases the craftsmanship of a different kind. There are numerous gifted designers, chefs, dancers, artists, musicians, and whatnot.
The students of DPS Vapi presented a special assembly on 4th May 2022, celebrating the Golden Progressive years of the journey of Gujarat. The assembly started with a prayer, thought for the day, and continued with a few amazing facts, and some news updates. The beauty of the state’s age-old traditions was showcased most flawlessly through the cultural folk song. Any Gujarati celebration seems incomplete without its Garba, we witnessed a blend of meticulous footsteps and pure coordination, which was a treat to watch on the stage during the assembly.
The ‘Nukkad Natak’ presentation on ‘Jewel of Western India- Gujarat’ was an eye-opener for our little ones. The accomplishments of Gujaratis, who are shining all over the world were also remembered, the students were very eager to know more about their achievements, which were shared through some speeches in the assembly. The day concluded with the National Anthem. The Gujarat day assembly shared the vivacious things we all desire to know about our state. In all, it was a day filled with great delight and excitement.
