The spirit of Raksha Bandhan came alive during a special assembly presented by the cheerful little ones of Prep C. Through a beautiful skit, the children portrayed The Promise of Raksha Bandhan, bringing alive the mythological tale of Lord Krishna and Draupadi and highlighting the timeless values of love, care, protection, and togetherness.
The celebration was filled with joyous songs and lively dance performances, adding colour and enthusiasm to the occasion.
Extending the festive spirit, the Pre-Primary classes engaged in creative and expressive activities such as “Small Threads, Big Hugs”, making decorative Rakhi thalis, and designing colourful sparkling and cartoon rakhis. These hands-on activities helped the children understand that Raksha Bandhan is not merely about tying a thread, but about celebrating the beautiful bonds of love, trust, and affection.
The celebration truly reflected the message that even the smallest thread can hold the strongest bond of love.
