With hearts full of gratitude and reverence, the students of Prep C presented a beautiful special assembly on the occasion of Guru Purnima. The assembly began with the sacred Guru Vandana shlok, creating a serene atmosphere and reminding everyone of the invaluable role of teachers in our lives.
The little ones confidently shared meaningful thoughts and words based on the theme, expressing their love, respect, and gratitude towards their gurus. The heart of the assembly was the captivating skit, "Haruni – A Devoted Disciple." Set in an ancient gurukul, the story beautifully portrayed Haruni's unwavering dedication, obedience, and selfless courage as he risked his own comfort to protect the ashram. His inspiring actions reflected the true essence of a devoted disciple and the timeless values of sincerity, duty, and respect for one's guru.
The assembly was further enriched with soulful songs and graceful dance performances that illustrated the guiding lights in every child's life. Through their heartfelt performances, the students conveyed that a guru not only imparts knowledge but also inspires character, values, and lifelong learning.
The celebration concluded with a heartfelt Guru Purnima greeting, leaving everyone inspired to cherish and honour the teachers who illuminate our path with wisdom and love.
