We at DPS Vapi believe knowledge is a treasure that follows you everywhere. The whole art of teaching is the art of awakening the natural curiosity of young minds and aims to instill knowledge of this kind in all our students. We continue to aspire and innovate our approach to connecting with our students thus disseminating knowledge and learning.
September was certainly a busy one, we saw an array of emotions: Enthusiasm on Teacher’s Day, Zest and Zeal during revisions, and dedication during the examinations of classes 5 & 6. Still, the students of classes III to VI managed to be a part of many exuberant and engaging activities, which were planned by their subject teachers.
Students assimilate new concepts when they listen, read, speak or write, therefore language plays a vital role in combining all the skills. Few activities like Poster Making on Respect Nature– Elocution with topics Knowledge is wealth & Honesty is the best policy, designing a Travelogue on Daman Tourism, describing their favourite object by having a conversation through dialogues were done in English. Hindi was also expressively taught through poetry writing and story writing.
Mathematics was interestingly taught by multiple fun activities like making Clocks, Calendars, Comparing the volume using different containers, Finding the HCF of two numbers using buttons, and understanding the use of the Fraction kit.
For a better understanding of Science, various activities like learning the concept of reversible and irreversible changes, project work on types of houses, parts of the body, and natural calamities were well explained in the class.
The enthusiasm and engrossment of the students played a vital role in successfully conducting these activities in the exuberant month of September.
It gave them a chance to explore their new abilities and learn new things.
