“The best way to learn is through experience, and the best way to grow is through understanding others.”

As part of experiential learning, the students of DPS Vapi visited the Tata Agricultural and Rural Training Centre for the Blind in Bhilad, on the 25th of June 2026. The visit provided a unique opportunity to our class 6 students to understand the challenges faced by visually impaired individuals and to appreciate their resilience, determination, and talents.

During the interaction, students learned about Braille, assistive learning methods, and the daily lives of the students at the school. They were inspired by the confidence and positivity displayed by the visually impaired learners despite the obstacles they encounter.

The visit fostered empathy, gratitude, and social awareness among our students, reinforcing the values of inclusivity and compassion. It was a truly enriching experience that went beyond textbooks and helped students learn valuable life lessons through meaningful human connections.
