On 24th June 2026, the students of Class 4 from DPS Vapi embarked on an exciting and educational field trip to the Aviary Bird Sanctuary in Daman. The visit provided a wonderful opportunity for students to connect with nature and observe a wide variety of birds in their natural surroundings.
As the students explored the place, they learnt about different bird species, their habitats, feeding habits, and the importance of conserving wildlife. The lush green environment and the sight of colourful birds made the experience both fascinating and enjoyable. Students of class 4, eagerly observed the birds, asked questions, and gained valuable insights into the natural world.
The trip reinforced the importance of environmental awareness and inspired us to appreciate and protect nature. It was a perfect example of learning beyond the classroom, where knowledge came alive through direct observation and interaction.
As the famous saying goes, “Tell me and I forget, teach me and I may remember, involve me and I learn.” This field trip truly reflected the spirit of experiential learning by allowing students to learn through first-hand experiences.
