GUJARAT DAY- SPECIAL ASSEMBLY PRIMARY – V A & V B
The colours of the Gujarat Day celebration unfolded at DPS Vapi through a special assembly on 30th April 2025. This special Day, celebrated the Rann Utsav.
The Rann Utsav is a festival showcasing the beauty and culture of the Great Rann of Kutch, a vast salt marsh in the white Desert. The Rann Utsav is a festival that includes cultural performances, adventure activities, and local cuisine. It's a time to experience the unique traditions and scenery of the Kutch region.
The assembly commenced with a melodious Gujarati prayer. Through colourful costumes and intriguing storytelling of the skit, we witnessed the rich cultural heritage that laid the foundation of Gujarat's identity. The assembly was then graced with mesmerizing cultural performances that depicted the diversity and beauty of Gujarat. Our talented students presented traditional dances. Each step captivated the audience, as the school was infused with the spirit of fervour and vivacity of our rich cultural heritage.
Today's celebrations through Music, Garbas and Skit has not only entertained us but also inculcated a deep sense of pride and appreciation for our beloved state deep within us. Let us carry forward the spirit of Gujarat Day in our hearts, cherishing our heritage and working towards a brighter future for Gujarat.
