Educational Field Trip The Primary Health Care Class – VI
Primary Health Cares are the keystone of rural health services. It is the first contact point between the village community and the medical practitioners. It is engrained in a commitment to social justice, equity, solidarity, and participation.
Students were asked to observe the following aspects of their curriculum: Healthcare setup: Healthcare services are the services designed to fulfil the health-based needs of people/communities through various resources available. The PHC Supervisor and the medical practitioners took the students on a short tour of the PHC building. Students were made aware that Primary health care ensures people receive quality health care. Students clearly understood the various manpower required in the hospital and their roles and responsibilities at various levels.
At the end of their visit, our students humbly expressed their gratitude towards the officials of the PHC.
