Field Trip to Zandu Ayurvedic Plantation(Nursery, Medicinal and Aromatic Plants) Class IV

With an aspiration to inculcate and develop a sense of love for nature as well as an awareness for a sustainable and natural way of life, a Field Trip was organized to Zandu Ayurvedic Plantation for the students of classes IV A & IV B on 24th April 2025.
The young minds were made aware of the ancient science of Ayurveda- the knowledge of life is an essential part of our Indian culture. Upon reaching the destination, the students were greeted by the lush greenery and soothing aromas of the Ayurvedic plantation garden. The garden was meticulously organized into sections, each dedicated to different types of medicinal plants and herbs. Tall trees provided shade, while neatly arranged pathways allowed for easy exploration.
A knowledgeable guide accompanied us at the nursery also helped our Dipsites to appreciate the rich treasure of the wisdom of Ayurveda and its deep scientific impressions on our day-to-day existence.
The visit to the Ayurvedic plantation garden was both illuminating and rejuvenating. Our students gained a deeper appreciation for the ancient wisdom of Ayurveda and the healing power of medicinal plants. It would certainly help the students to develop an awareness for a healthy mindset and a healthy body. The students assured to incorporate Ayurvedic principles into their lifestyle.
Our students enjoyed an informative and enriching field trip to a nursery and gained various perceptions into several medicinal and aromatic plants. Students expressed their gratitude for this opportunity of connecting with nature in such a profound way.
