HAPPY REPUBLIC DAY
Republic Day holds great importance in every heart of an Indian citizen. This is one of the national festivals of India which embarks a sense of patriotism in everybody’s mind. DPS Vapi takes this as an opportunity to open the doors of nationalism which introduces the younger generation to our great Indian history and culture.
26th January is not just a date on the calendar, but a reminder of the day when India adopted its Constitution, paving the way for a sovereign, democratic, and secular country. It is a day to salute the tricolour and to cherish the spirit of patriotism.
This special day was celebrated with great enthusiasm and patriotic fervor at DPS Vapi. The assembly on the occasion of Republic Day, commenced with a prayer song. A skit – ‘Weaving the threads of Responsibility’ was well performed by the students. The resplendent dance performance ‘A Perfect Sense of Triumph’ by our Dipsites captivated the spectators. A yoga performance engrossed us all into a holistic journey of body and mind. Powerful speeches delivered by our students in Hindi and English inspired the audience to lead a righteous and virtuous life. The melodic and rhythmic blend of eternal tunes further accentuated the reverence and love for our motherland.
The students gave astounding performances that redefined their earned knowledge. The day was a complete amalgamation of patriotism and satisfaction.
