Celebrating International Dance Day – Tiny Feet, Big Moves
The highlight of the day was a dance workshop where the graceful dancers of Grade I took on the role of “sharers,” leading and inspiring their younger peers. With every step, twirl, and sway, the older dancers became the teachers, guiding the little ones through simple yet joyful dance steps. The sight of those tiny feet following their graceful mentors was truly heartwarming.
The workshop became a wholesome experience for everyone involved – a beautiful exchange of learning and teaching. The younger children, with wide eyes and eager hearts, watched their seniors with admiration, absorbing the movements and energy. The older children, in turn, felt a sense of responsibility and pride in passing on their knowledge.
The day was a wonderful reminder of the magic of dance — how it connects, teaches, and brings joy to all. It was a celebration of not just skill, but also the joy of sharing, moving, and growing together.
