We at DPS Vapi aim to optimize children’s learning experiences by preparing and giving them the exposure to explore and understand their environment. In the dynamic realm of pre-primary education, fostering a sense of curiosity and exploration is fundamental to a child's holistic development. This report encapsulates a week dedicated to the theme "Know What's Around You" in pre-primary classes. The objective was to engage young minds in discovering the world around them through interactive and immersive activities.
The Dazzlers of Pre-Nursery explored the concept of solar system, enthralled young minds as they learned about the sun, planets, moons, and other celestial bodies. Various interactive activities were organized to make learning enjoyable, including planet crafts, glittery Milky way
The DIPSITES of Prep and Nursery dived into the world of flowers, plants, and types of transportation; they primarily studied Bougainvillea and Gulmohar, types of plants, fabricating parts of plant, the lifecycle of Butterfly, and modes of transport. Key activities conducted were 3-D model making, scrap book activity, demonstrations, nature trails, exhibits, spotting exercises, etc.
The integration of these diverse topics and activities in the pre-primary curriculum aimed to provide a well-rounded educational experience. By combining hands-on activities, creative expression, and real-world experiences, the curriculum not only enriched the children's knowledge but also nurtured their curiosity and a love for learning. These foundational concepts lay the groundwork for future academic exploration and instill a sense of wonder and appreciation for the world around them.
